About Patricia

Patricia Dougherty is a continual improvement professional creating business value and organizational discipline through innovative and holistic solutions that leverage data and enterprise assets to provide competitive advantage and achieve strategic goals. Through thoughtful data governance and process design, Pat works across functional areas, developing win-wins that both stems risk while growing the business.

Professionally, she has worked in financial services in lower Manhattan for most of her career.  Today Pat works at Evernorth/Cigna where she creates a culture of data that merges business strategy and data governance. Beyond her corporate leadership, she is also an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University, where she earned her MBA. In addition, she sits on the Access for All Committee in her hometown of Rutherford, NJ.

Pat is a PMI certified project manager, a Black Belt in Six Sigma, trained in Data Capability and Maturity models, and until 2023 served as VP of Administration on the board of DAMA NY. Personally, she has many interests and loves to create meaningful connections and help people and organizations achieve their potential.
